Summer Camps Information

Housing

Campers are housed in the dorms on the campus of Sam Houston State University. Two campers are assigned to share a room. Usually, two rooms will share a bathroom (suite). Campers may request roommates (& suitemates) on the registration form.

Reserving a space for your child

The camp has a very limited space to house campers.

Resident Campers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Day campers will be accepted provided the full amount is paid by entry deadline.

To reserve a space:

  1. Send in the registration form and the non-refundable deposit as soon as possible.
  2. You will receive a notice if your space has been reserved. If space is NOT available, you will be notified immediately and your deposit will be refunded.
  3. Send in the remaining balance no later than entry deadline.

Camper Check-In

Campers will be assigned a check-in time before the first day of camp. It is important that parents arrive at the specified time for check-in. This will help avoid long lines at the Music Buidling and at the dorms during check-in. Do not arrive early. Arrive at your specified time.
