Special Performances
Two to three additional performances are given each year, one or two holiday performances and a major work performance each spring, in collaboration Dr. Allen Hightower with the Division of Choral Studies and in performance with the Symphonic Choir. Additionally, the Symphony performs a children’s concert each spring at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at The Woodlands. This concert is given at the invitation of Conroe Independent School District and the Pavilion as part of a special arts educational program and through the sponsorship of the Conroe Junior Service League. Some 4000 - 5000 fourth grade students are in attendance for this concert each spring.
